Has anyone got a GRS Fenris on a T3?
There seems to be an excessive cut into the recess where the bolt arm would sit.
It would appear to be a bit of design flaw in what is otherwise a very well engineered bit of kit.
I was just about to start a similar thread. Received my fenris today and whilst it's very comfortable and plenty of adjustments fit and finish is worst I had ever seen. Inlet is not straight and made with chisel like. Vent hole in left side of the action is half way blocked , rear flush cup is like off centre or slightly diagonally screwed. Plastic pillars are compress fitted and rear one is deformed at the bottom end not perfect round, that's why I call them plastic as fibreglass shouldn't do that. Even more rear action screw stretching out in the bolt Chanel. Saying all that if the rifle shoot same as with factory stock I would be happy but if not then I am in trouble to deal with SGC as not fit for purpose. So for now hope to try it Wednesday evening
Don't forget the Fenris is GRS's "entry level" stock!
The Bifrost exhibits the same profiled bolt arm reccess undercut, so I doubt it's an oversight but more likely a design feature that allows good access to the trigger assembly for cleaning after being dragged through a Highland bog etc.
