Stolen at the Shooting Show

I just heard from someone who was there, that a Hound thermal spotter was stolen from the DNT stand at the Shooting Show
It was the 635 model and since these spotters are not on sale yet, please be aware that if anyone offers to sell you a hound 635, it is stolen property

There was also a Pixfra Sirius S650D stolen from the Pixfra stand on Saturday. I believe these aren't on general sale yet either.

So the "owner" can basically never do a FW update or link it to a phone app. Seems very short sighted to me. I hope they can push out an update for that serial only, that bricks it.

The security cable was detached from one thermal on the Scott country stand I politely pointed it out to the chap behind the counter anyone could have walked off with it.
Kit like that should be tagged like in a shop surely?

Although I'm sure DNT know the serial number of the stolen thermal, I doubt they could block a firmware update or prevent it from connecting to an app

The new Hilux, Navara (also Merc X class) and Landrover discovery, RRS and RR are easily stolen with modern technology. I wouldn't have one personally due to risk of loosing my equipment and dogs. I see many of these vehicles that are for sale in the stolen recovered auctions throughout the country each week.
