He told me off some for not going Monday, well l didn't expect Cellulitis and Strep infection.
This was Saturday and l was able to stand on it and bend my toes again.
Not fun.

NHS GP's absolute waste of time here.
Same for my wife but womb cancer, luckily no reconstruction or stoma. Must admit they moved sharpish then. Unfortunately some came backAn older practice nurse sent her for a scan as she was worried and tumour found straight away.
The nurse saved her life that day but she had terrible reconstructive surgery and a stoma.
I have completed works and commissioning on a few telecoms towers over the years where the farmers specifically forbade any blackthorn in the hedge planting mix - a lot hate it. Where I live it's the traditional hedging plant and its a bugger - that's why I was so hacked off to get stuck when I did - I'm usually more careful and hang on fences and trees where possible - or gralloch on the ground. The field was heavy plough and I didn't fancy getting the hides any wetter given the langth of the extraction over said plough and every rut was ankle deep in mucky water, further exacerbated by me being in a rush for a meeting later in the morning.Had one stuck in my knee without realising, after a week of pain and a carefully placed mirror I found and removed it, instant relief, I think every time I've had a thorn its gone bad, makes a really good hedge though
My Mrs had terrible back pain for years, written off by the GP as getting older. Only when a new and way more energetic GP arrived did the Mrs go for a scan and a benign tumour (Ganglioma) was found in her lower spine that had pressed on her spinal cord and was growing which restricted the cord further and further. After the diagnosis the treatment was fast and very effective - spinal surgery and regular check ups ever since. I understand she was one jolt or sneeze from being paraplegic, such was the pressure.Mine very good looking after me,but missed my wife's bladder cancer as a water infection.
For two years.
