Best .22-250 Brass ?

Hi,
Seeing as Lapua brass is like rocking horse manure what alternative would anyone recommend? This will be for .22-250.

I am currently considering Winchester, Norma & PPU.

Yep, Norma or Lapua but I've got a cracking load with Federal brass too, may not last as long but the load is very accurate.

1-12 and 1-14 both group well. Varget and H380.

Been running the vmax 53s for a while now but you need a 12 twist barrel

Even though they are ok in mine they really need a faster twist. If they do group in a 1-14 your lucky.

36g of N140 in your new Norma brass, CCI L/R primer, if you have them, and a Sierra 1365, 55g game king. It should be going around 3600fps and be very accurate.

I haven't used them, 52g Amax were good but the 1365 soft point is great on deer as well as fox.

That’s good to know as I would like to try some soft point especially for when the rape stubble stalks are up after fresh chopping or any other crop where the stalks have been left long

The Sierra 55 gr BK (1455) requires a 1:12" twist or faster.
Norma Brass has been very good in my wife's Schultz and Larsen 22-250 rifle.
