Rem 700 BDL Mag Extender Request

I’m looking to source either a genuine or aftermarket printed (if such a thing exists) Mag Extender for Rem 700 Long Action BDL floorplate

The item is basically an extension that replaces the floorplate of a BDL magazine and allows the capacity to be increased by two rounds

I’ve looked on line and found nothing available

It’s the type of thing that’s no longer in fashion so someone may have one in a spares box no longer used.

Alternatively if one of our US members know of a source I’d be happy to obtain one from you covering purchase and shipping costs (it’s a piece of plastic so not regulated as far as I understand)

Or finally I’m not sure if the guys with 3D printers could look to see if there is a drawing available to print one - again happy to cover cost of printing and shipping

You might give Chad at Long Rifles Inc a shout via email. He bought a lot of the oddball stuff from Remington's custom shop when they went under. Or if you have a CAD drawing or part, he could scan and machine one. He's done a lot of the old M-40 parts for guys wanting accurate reproduction parts.

That’s brilliant thank you very much - it may be something to look at in the future should a spare be needed

I want to put together a lighter weight but no loss of capacity culling rifle based on a long action custom rem clone I have here for myself and prefer the bdl platform over a long action bulky mag

I could probably make one from billet aluminium but simply haven’t the time available to dedicate to that on my manual mill

Yes I could use a T3 but have a particular action I want to use
