Virtus Precision .308 125gr

I switched from Nosler .308 125gr to @Virtus Precision UK .308 125Gr Osprey’s over 2 years ago. I had a quick try on with Barnes TTSX 130Gr but due to erratic supply lines and finding them was near on impossible the move to Virtus 125grOspreys was a game changer. I predominantly stalk Sika in Dorset, with the occasional Roe, Muntjac and Fox. It performs superbly on all of the above species. When hitting big Stags I’ve had zero issues with runners that I have experienced with the Barnes. Expansion has been great even if don’t hit any bone on entry.
I am now well into my 4th box accounting for well over 100 animals and probably won’t use anything else as they have continuously performed faultlessly.

Interesting, I have a load worked up for Virtus 140grain Eagles which I'll be trying on deer tomorrow for the first time. Intrigued to see terminal performance

Yes same here, really good performance so far although I’ve not shot nearly as many with them! A stout load of N135 pushing near 3000 fps. Vern is also extremely nice and helpful to deal with.

What speed are they from your short barrel .308?

Need to run them through your Garmin but I calculate around 2950 ish. Full load of 47.5gr N135
