Offline mapping is a vital tool, particularly if the land you manage has sketchy cell coverage.

In a nutshell:
- Install app and download maps of choice [list is global]
- Open app and once your phone has found satellites, press
at right of screen - Pointer in center of screen should now mark where you stand on the planet
- Touch pointer or other location you wish to share and edit/share that position as required [location data format can be in several diffent formats. One useful option is the OM url as it opens a browser on the recipient's device: I.e. they do not need Organic Maps app to see where you are: example below is OpenStreetMap ]
