Z6i vs z8i?

Forgive my ignorance but could somebody clarify.

The 6 and the 8 in these product titles, am j right in thinking that this is the magnification power in the scope at base. So for example a deer at 100m with a 50mm objective scope on the same variable mag (say 7x) look larger in a z8i than on a z6i?

Thanks

Here goes…….z6/z8 is the magnification factor of the base mag. eg. 6x3 base gives you a Z6 3-18x50/56.
Z8 gives you 3-24x50/56. The i indicates illuminated reticle.

All seems very simple now 😂
More important than the 8 mag multiple in the Z8’s compared to the Z6’s is the fact that the Z8 series is a newer model and has some design improvements over the Z6 series. I have both, they are very good but the Z8 is better
