Moderator storage

Thin wire coat hangers with windscreen washer plastic pipe over the bare metal and bent to suit your cabinet with a bit of old towel to keep the mod from rubbing on the inside metal when you close the door?
To me they should not be stored in there anyway due to the amount of moisture inside the can, IMO best to leave it on top of a radiator overnight, but only after they finally come off ticket.

That’s a lot of money for about £1 of 3d printing filament and some magnets!
I’ve got a prototype knocked up from a buddy but only one survived postage. When I’m back home I’ll be able to try be maybe able to get a few more sorted if people are interested

Dont leave it on the gun a different safe is better , the burnt gasses residue can corrode your can! When i say this i still have one of the first T8 moderators well used , always left to come back to room heat then a blast of waster dispercent spray. I see some ruining a mod in a year or two for a minutes work.

Will mods still be required to be locked up in a safe once they come 'off ticket' - TBC? I will likely still lock mine up, But i wonder if it will still be a legal necessity.

I don't think you'll need to keep them locked up in the same way,bas the offence is simply possessing a S1 mod without Fac. The offences that relate not keeping firearms secure won't apply anymore as mods won't be firearms after the new law kicks in. But my guess is the updated Home Office guidance will probably give a steer when it comes out (apparently it's coming soon).

I bought a set of really small strong magnets on eBay, bolted little right angle brakes on and fitted plastic beakers to them ,then fit magnets to inside of cabinet door and cheap mod holders!!

I bought self adhesive pouches for £10 on Amazon, you get 3. Stuck them to the inside of my cabinet door. One for magazines, one for 2 rimfire suppressors and the largest one will fit a centerfire suppressor. Job done.
