One piece quick release mount advice,

i was going to put my alpex on 4 rifles, but worked out it only needs to go on my 243 and HMR, i have a vortex on the 223 now so thats all good, looks like i will have to put my hand in my pocket, again, its never ending this rifle shooting and reloading job, im only about £10k in so its not to bad
Only a drop in the ocean mate 😬🤣

are these ok??

Right chaps, im getting a bit of brain freeze on how best to do this,

so at the moment i have a 22lr and a 17 hmr that share a arken zulas, when i change this over it retains its zero well,
there used for rabbits in the day and night time,

i also have a 223 with a Vortex PST gen 2 on it, thats used for fox, longer range rabbits and gong bashing,

i pick up my new 234 in a couple of days which as of yet has no scope,

so is what i would like to do is sell the zulas and get a Alpex 4k,
and use that on all 4 rifles from time to time, and also the Vortex on the 2 centre fires when needs be,

a good mate has said the way forward is a quick release one piece mount,

am i pushing my luck doing all this changing about or could it work, its easy enough for me to check zero as i have to local farms i shoot on half a mile away in either direction.
obviously i know i will have to re zero the Vortex every time but im hoping the alpex with its pre set zeros for each rifles will be ok,

so if this is all doable then can anyone recommend a decent set of mounts, they dont have to be the best, just decent, and.

many thanks.

Lee
I have an alpex. Itd be heavy on a rimmy

I just bumped into this topic. The Leupold QRW don't do it for me. About 2" of POI shift at 100m. Much cheaper than the Innomount I use, but less good.
What is the repeatability you get from QRW? ( people wich are pleased about them)

I just mounted an Innomount Multirail on my T3x lite - 308. This allows me to use the Blaser Saddle mount on it, as well as any picatinny system.
Something wrong there. Ive used them for several years on my .22, .22-250, .243 with zero (pardon the pun) issues

Ziegler ZP mounts, also are very good, as well as EAW , Recknagel, MAK, ... and Blaser Saddle
When I see the Sportsmatch only being € 80-100 cheaper than Innomount, I don't take the risk. I go for something sure.

This what I call repeatable :

I use Warne Maxima QD Rusan QD rings, and the Sports match one piece.

Out of all of them, I've found the Sports match most consistent so far. It has a Pard DS in it and use 3 profiles - FAC air, 22LR and 22WMR. So far, return to zero has been consistent on all 3. I e even dropped it while moving it a out and was no change.

The Warnes are next best and then the Rusans

I seen these cheap QR mounts on AliExpress and bought a pair just to see what they were like.
I fitted them to my spare scope and put it on my 22.
After zeroing I fired a 10 shot group at 50 yards.
I fired 2 shots removed and fitted the scope and fired 2 more .
I carried on doing this for 10 shots so the scope was removed 4 times in the group.
It's a 3 inch target and the group measured 0.8 in centre to centre.
I was impressed considering I was shooting from my viperflex sticks.
Next test is to put them on my 308.
