need some AAA’s to find out. lolHow much does it weigh?
To be fair that looks like an end of barrel moderatorThat’s has to be the longest non-competition stalking rifle I’ve seen. Each to his/her own though. Great for the hill, less so in a tight wood. My S&B polar is awesome but bloody heavy for a lightweight rig.

correct- there is an over barrel printed mod but is even more ridiculously expensiveTo be fair that looks like an end of barrel moderator
can you help me get membership?Lovely calibre, not so fashionable these days but I love it. I spent the morning at the BSRC Interclub match using mine (Sako75 stainless synthetic) to good effect. Over 25 years old and still shooting 1/3 moa.
it’s the end of barrel mod. it funny you say not for the woods, i wanted a polar for exactly that scenario. That’s has to be the longest non-competition stalking rifle I’ve seen. It's a lump, foolishly, as so am I, Ive set my sights on learning to hunt from ski's so I'm making a 6XC of a similar weightTotally agree with you and my polar is on my woodland rifle. The point I was making (and clearly not that well) was that, irrespective of the use, the polar is heavy so any set up aiming for a ultra lightweight status probably shouldn’t have a polar.
