Have you tried using the fifth leg facing towards you rather than viper flexes pictured way of facing away from you.
Works better behind as you can control it far better. Also Carrys better in the hand.
Also take the clip off the leg and mount it half way up your sticks. Makes it easier to access. Finally 5th leg one notch shorter than your sticks. Stops it getting in the way.
