Happy ending for once, I understand!
More details needed! Especially if it was someone "viewing to buy" beforehand!Happy ending for once, I understand!![]()
How did they know the location? Tracker? Other stolen quads, one with a tracker?Recovered by police
little bit of damage but easily fixed

I’ve got the large PDF manual for this quad if you wanted a copy?Just a quick follow up on this one - having recently taken ownership of this quad, and having received the replacement key module (many thanks Ed!), is there anyone able to advise me as to the function and any location of the corresponding receiving ‘female’ socket for the black and yellow bullet connector as shown here?

I’ve had a good look in the wiring loom behind the speedo etc even with a head torch, but as yet to no avail. The ignition and lighting is fully functional without the bullet connector attached to anything presently, so I was wondering if it is for an accessory light or something, but thought I’d throw this one open to those with some greater experience and expertise in these matters ( ie just about everyone else!). Any advice or insights gratefully received, thanks.

That would be very much appreciated thanks, I’ve looked online and on page 349 of a ‘Clymer’ manual it mentions the yellow and black wire, but not it’s function nor whereabouts to connect/disconnect to or from. I’ll PM you with my details.I’ve got the large PDF manual for this quad if you wanted a copy?
I can imagine so, do you think it’s now redundant? If so, I was just going to wrap it in a heatshrink sheath and tuck it in out of the way.The wiring changed from 2006 onwards
Pretty sure this one predates that time; first used one like it among the stags in Easter Ross in 1989. Runs like a sewing machine!Good job that mines a 2005
