Wanted: Blaser R8 6.5mm PRC barrel, mod and bolt head & GRS stock (or similar)

What are you planning on shooting through it? Beware that barrel twist might not be tight enough to stabilise some loads.

You’ll likely already know, but in addition to the MA bolt head, you’ll need a #10 mag insert for 6.5 PRC

Thanks. It will be non-lead, possibly Fox 123gn. It is supposed to be 1 in 8.66”.

People have reported that the almost 1 in 9 twist rate might struggle to stabilise long copper bullets. I’m going the custom route instead with a tighter twist and a stub laser marked to look original.

My R8 6.5PRC shoots Hornady 143gn ELD-X, & Barnes 127gn LRX very nicely.
