Many thanks for the reply @Edinburgh Rifles. They all look great but a lot more than I want to spend at the moment.
I’m looking for an old knacker to try before jumping in with both feet.
Thanks again.

We have old knackers too!!
How old
How knackered?
If there’s a choice then preferably an over under. Just needs to be left handed and in working order, nothing more. Something liberated from the scrap pile would be perfectly adequate.
I’m right handed and left eye dominant but have very poor sight in my right eye. Shooting scoped rifles right handed is fine. I’m gradually moving over to shooting my iron sighted rifles left handed and already shoot 10m Olympic pistol with a right handed 7 degree cant grip to favour my left eye.
I’ve only shot a shogun a handful of times and would like to try wildfowling this coming season. However, I know I can’t shoot a right handed gun for toffee. Just want to try a left handed gun and, depending on how I get on, I’ll either invest in some good kit or give it up as a bad job.

I don't know if Auchterhouse has left and right handed club guns, but I know Braidwood down outside Selkirk has both options (in Beretta flavour). That could give you a go at a leftie gun.

I could possibly meet you at Cluny as well, and you could try my Browning - it's not a left handed gun, but it's fairly straight cast, and then the adjustable comb on it makes it fine to shoot.

Thanks Chris, I’m past Auchterhouse fairly often. I’ll call and see what they have. I also think Anglers choice at Dundee might have a couple of scrappers in.

Thanks for your very kind offer of having a shot of your Browning. I’ll see what comes up over the next few weeks but might just take you up on the offer. 👍

I would caveat about my own gun, I personally am fairly easy on stocks. I've happily picked up any sort and so long as the stock's not long enough for a gorilla, I haven't had any issues shooting anything I'm given (usually on a sim game day and when friends want to give double gunning a go).

That being said, having an adjustable comb really allows my Browning to be "mine".
