Brought the OTS-XLT a few months ago for £200. refurbished
Took it out last night for the first time What a waste of money.
Told by other shooters best thing for that is to chuck it at some thing so be aware.

Appreciate your feedback, I think the price point (for thermal) and sensor resolution has to be taken into account with the OTS XLT - expectation of performance has to be realistic.
Did you get the unit directly from us?
If it's not focusing then we could take a look at it, in my experience the low resolution sensor makes it hard to achieve critical focus.

Yes I dealt with the guy that left you the next week.

But it was tested last night by two other shooter's and my self as to achieve critical focus I am brought this to use up to 100yds .

But let me say this was not what we all expected.

I might be able to dig something up that's more suitable for 100yds if you'd be interested - especially if the XLT is going to be of no use to you.

In the real world (not the spec sheet), the OTS XLT isn't effective past 50 yds for me - dependent on what you're trying to ID of course and weather conditions.

I said No so £200. WASTED so that's is money I could have put on some thing else.

Shame you didn't try you spotter when you first got it, as the distance selling regulations would have let you send it back for a refund.

Bill, as I stated in our DM conversation, I am sympathetic as to how you feel about the circumstances of the original sale.
Sorry that I couldn't reach an offer that was suitable, the upgrade prices I quoted you only covered the material parts of those units - I can't say fairer than that.
