Trimming down the cabinet to some sort of sensible, so as I just don’t use the wooden stock it’s up for grabs.
Seen very little use over the past couple of years so in vgc. Has trigger group/magazine (no mag insert obvs) Lovely strong bit of wood too.
Bolt carrier and ST bolt head also available, would ideally sell together but may split. They’re on ticket so needs FAC slot.
Stock £1750
Bolt carrier and ST bolt head £400

Hi, does the bolt work on all R8s? It looks like its rails are longer than what I have on R8 Ultimate.

Hi, the bolt carrier is common across all R8s, I’ve got 3 Blasers (2 ultimate adjustable and this one) they’re identical and can swap the bolt carrier them about without any issues

All interchangeable although more recent R8 bolt housing rails are significantly shorter. They made efficiencies in the design and reckon there’s no reduction in the bolt housing stability or movement despite the shorter rails. Saves them money, saves you weight.

Is the bolt head on ticket ?
Depends on your licensing dept. I don’t think there’s a universal answer that fits so best to check with your dept. I’m in the process of clarifying with mine. Currently that particular bolt head and the stock are numbered on my ticket so would need authority, from what I understand though, the bolt carrier should also be on ticket.

Bolt carrier isn’t a pressure bearing component. I’ve bought them and none were on ticket.

Bolt head is a pressure bearing component and all the heads I’ve bought have been on ticket

Neither is the stock but that’s on my ticket! I obviously don’t make the rules up but there currently doesn’t seem to be a universal solution and differs from force to force.
Current advice from mine is of the 4 serial number identified elements of a Blaser (barrel, stock with metal, bolt carrier and bolt head) all but the stock should be written on an FAC, normally all together as a “primary” rifle, with any extra parts (barrels, bolts etc) named and numbered as and when acquired.
Safest thing to do is check with your own force to see what they require.
