For Sale: ATN UK - Factory Refurbished Optics - Further Reductions

Essexsussex thanks will be taking it out soon at night it is on one of my 22lr. what torch do use 🤞
Solaris srx v1 but I’m sure there are lots of good options. At least 2-300m visibility maybe more. I haven’t had NV before so i
Might be easily impressed but I find it fantastic and very straightforward to use.

Brought the OTS-XLT a few months ago for £200. refurbished
Took it out last night for the first time What a waste of money.
Told by other shooters best thing for that is to chuck it at some thing so be aware.
Does not focus

I might be teaching you to suck eggs but the focus on these units is on the objective bell - not the eye piece. I had one and the first time I took it out had the same issue until I figured it out. I found that the clarity and details was pretty good.

Slightly ot but I bought an ATN thermal sight and the instructions to zero it said to shoot a round at a target then looking through the sight move the reticle (Assuming it wasn’t spot on) to the (POI) bullet hole and confirm with a button press.
Problem was, the image at 50 yards wasn’t good enough to see a bullet hole.
I don’t know if any thermal scopes Id bullet holes at 50 yards but I wouldn’t have bought the one I did if I knew beforehand the instructions were untrue.
Ken.

Hi Ken,

Can I just confirm with you which model of thermal you bought?

Hi Ken this is what my manual says
You will need to obtain a target that is able to be detected by a thermal imager. ATN has thermal targets available for purchase, or you can use any of the following items: Cold or Hot water bottle, hand warmers, or foil based tape. We recommend using a boresight device in order to get on target faster. Once the scope is aligned with a boresight, follow the One Shot Zero procedure in order to Zero the scope to your weapon
Your must be different to mine

Hi,
I tried many different target types including spending around 60 quid on Pulsar ones.
Ken.

ATN go to the pub or for a meal instead of chucking money away as I did.
Tried to spot a magpie in the tree furthest away 25m the magpie was safe

Hi Ken,

We have some specific air activated pads that can help assist with zeroing thermals - can you DM your address details so I can send some out to you?

ATN x-sight 4k works well I was gifted this for free by a member for my grandson.
Took it out last night just to look through it worked well NOT LIKE THE THERMEL so ATN not all crap.
Will now set it up for him on a rifle

Add a laser light and absolutely brilliant all night. Good luck to him with it.

Hi Ken both 4-12 x 640x480 put the x one I have found even the stickers targets work as well
Cheers Craig
And you can clearly see bullet holes at 50 yards?
Ken.
I microwave a potato, wrap it in foil then straight out the house to zero. Shows up well.
My only zeroing problem was trying to use the one shot zero method, just couldn’t see the bullet holes.
Had to use a spotting scope then guess the distances and walk the bullets in. Or walk to the target and measure, then adjust.
Some of the hand and foot warmers were okay, some not, but that was the targets not the sight.
This hand warmer shot at 100 yards with my Optix Identifier was an absolute flook that won’t ever be repeated.
Ken.

Hi Ken I also think the time of year helps if it winter and cold I have see the bullet holes with my 204r but in summer I don’t think you would have a cat in hells chance
The splatter targets facing sun and with to you back work well
