Replacement Stock for Remington 700

Stock for Remington 700 to buy wood laminated wood plastic composite s/h advice
I have two Boyd identical thumbholes on my Remmy 700s 222 and .308 - both fitted perfectly with no fettling though I think some have required tweaking. Great stocks, pretty durable and at the price I paid a few years back a real bargain….

I have a magpul hunter on a short action which is very comfortable and rigid, on my long action I have a bell & carlson fibre glass stock, again comfy and rigid, but the comb is a little low and needs a riser for good cheek weld

My 700 SA is in an mdt oryx - nice stock if you like that kind of thing. I had an AI folding stock on it before which was ace for the range but weighed a ton!

Well you really are spoilt for choice! I’ve had (got) for R700 - AICS, MDT, XLR, Manners, HS Precision, Hogue, B&C, as well as OEM stocks…

I prefer fully bedded with alu pillars, but chassis systems work well but invariably impart some stress on the action - not that it really affects accuracy. Decide on preferred materials, features and budget and take your pick.

Anyone selling a Remington 700 SA light profile synthetic stock nothing tactical or target orientate.
