Deer legal, yes. Certainly for muntjac, potentially for larger species in England/Wales subject to meeting energy requirements. My intention is to work up a hunting load alongside playing with it at the range.would it be deer legal? whats the accuracy like. could you hit a rabbit at 100m?
Muntjac & CWD legal in England & Wales, even with factory ammunition. Barrel length is critical to get required MV to reach the other legal threshold of 1700 ft lbs. I can get 1700ft lb plus loading 210g or 240g Sierra JHC and 200g Hornady XTP on top of Hodgdon H110 from a 20” barrel.Deer legal, yes. I'm looking at 200gr Barnes XPB, but this is only a 16.5 inch barrel so it may not quite get there... They are.Very nice, I imagine will make a lovely rifle to carry through the woods.
