Anyone using Nocpix Bolt?

Now the darker night are approaching looking to gear up fir the dark nights and ditch the old lamp. Done lots of reading and thought I'd decided what I was looking for but now more confused than ever. Forst dip in to night vision and thermal. Like the look of the Bolt but was after peoples experiences that used one. Looking to swap it between .22 and .223 if it's up to the job?
Thanks
Dave

It's up to full bore centrefire, had that from the horses mouth, I put one on my .222, eye box great , field of view great, onboard stuff also very good.:thumb:

Thabks just what I wanted to hear. Will only be used 2-3 tines a month so don't want to spend a fortune on top notch thermal.
How far would you say you can identify target in field? Will be used for a bot of daytime crow shooting and foxing at night

You will not find it lacking, I class the clarity alongside my Mergers, 300 yards is no problem for id, much further if you are watching moving targets.

300yds is no problem for ID, I'd disagree , I'd say around a 1/3rd of that ?

In terms of the Bolt L35R, it's a 35mm 12um unit.

Detection range for a fox your looking at around 970m. , Recognition (i.e tell its an animal ) around 243m and identification around 115m as in know its a fox rather than dog ...
