Can’t seem to find an Ase Utra SL5i x 30 cal x 18x1.
Is there a shortage of SL5i mods?

One here for you. Just change the thread to 18x1 to suit your barrel. You need a 34mm socket to change them. Tapping it to m18 is also an option

Just call Jackson rifles up and ask them to change the thread. They are the importers and hold all spares. should cost around 25-40 quid all in

A job for someone with a decent lathe I would think.
Also the stainless used in SL5is seems very hard.
I used a hand reamer in one of mine and it was hard.

Last one I wanted the thread changing on, Jacksons wanted the moderator sending back and wouldn’t sell me the parts.
After my RFD had taken a cut for handling it worked out pretty expensive.

Yes it’s a proper pain. I’ve done a couple but getting the threaded inserts is the challenge.
