Can’t seem to find an Ase Utra SL5i x 30 cal x 18x1.
Is there a shortage of SL5i mods?
Cheers, Ken.
Looks good but I want the SL5i model. One here for you. Just change the thread to 18x1 to suit your barrel. You need a 34mm socket to change them. Tapping it to m18 is also an option

Apparently this is how PES/MAE are changed to larger calibresWiden your search . See if a 25 cal with an 18x1 thread is available and get the mod drilled out to 8mm .
Dave Mercer DM80 drilled one of his mods I had. From 6mm to 8mm.
I’ve sent a note to Viking, just awaiting reply.Jackson's are no longer the importer,
I believe it's a company called viking arms now,

A job for someone with a decent lathe I would think.Apparently this is how PES/MAE are changed to larger calibres
Last one I wanted the thread changing on, Jacksons wanted the moderator sending back and wouldn’t sell me the parts. There’s a 5/8” UNF at the Countryman of Derby, just needs a new insert. Good price too.

After my RFD had taken a cut for handling it worked out pretty expensive.
Thanks, Ken.
