Today at work I.....

No mate, the person that paid the scum is liable, not the one who found it.
Hope he get a proper penalty this time
AHH got ya..if it is was all building materials or garden waste yeah I'd think that. But I reckon this is a case of we've got no space after Christmas, dump some shité.

Sorry I don't really understand all of that... So the person who finds it is responsible for it??
No, the rubbish has an address in it, so they're responsible for their rubbish, even if they paid someone else to take it away for them. The person who dumped it assuming its someone else than the original owner, if caught can be given a fpn as well.

If you were to pay a licensed waste carrier, someone who is registered with the local council/authority, to dispose of your waste/rubbish then ownership of your waste/rubbish transfers to them as does any liability.

If you were to pay someone who is not licensed, you still retain legal responsibility for your waste regardless of what happens to it and how much you paid.

Many people get caught out because they dispose of waste through someone, apparently cheap, on face ache or ****ter, pay good money, only for their waste being fly tipped.

Bottom line, your waste your responsibility. The courts have no sympathy for ignorance of the law or greed.

Need any work Ken, job going here.
Gave my (Wifey and me started it together in ‘87) small business to Wifey’s son (A welder) 23 years ago.
He closed it down at the end of April this year. Still finishing off work in progress.
He’s just turned 53 and retiring!
I was a Blacksmith and found that much more satisfying than Sticking, Migging and Tigging. (That was boring for me)
Too worn out to do either again so thinking of opening an air rifle range in the workshop. 🤣.
Never smoked in my life but got COPD! Caused by the fumes they said.
KB.

If it does leak it'll be scrap the design is so bad. Bet it never makes it to production!17585277391892778482397857382749.webp

Hello, It is good to see UK Companies still making these Engineering projects, I worked in a factory making Cranes when Mig welding had taken over from Arc welders, The Mig welders were far bigger than the modern versions of today
