That's a good description. Probably an international one.<chuckle> I what is stood for over here, because 1.) You're working for them, and 2.) like guns, everyone has their favorite brand.
But over here the detractors refer to JCB as "Just Crap from Britain". But, I also have friends here that like JCB equipment.I just got a chuckle from the play on the letters.
Boom nearly done, just some little fittings and a clean up Monday. My colleague put it together and forgot to take the mill scale off.
I'm on 1mm, 1.2mm would of been a bit better for this set, the wire feed is very poor.More excellent work SD . Just out of interest, what size wire do you use for the mig![]()
hello, Is the wire feed outer cable like the old fashion net curtain wire ??I'm on 1mm, 1.2mm would of been a bit better for this set, the wire feed is very poor.
Back in the 1970s / 1980s this was the most common fault on the Industrial Mig Welders using Co2 , The outer steel liner got all clogged up with the mig wire constantly going through the liner at high speed, So we had to take the liner out and use the air line to blow out the dust about every new reel of Mig wire, hello, Is the wire feed outer cable like the old fashion net curtain wire ??
No mate, it a normal lance.hello, Is the wire feed outer cable like the old fashion net curtain wire ??
I've also noticed the problems has increased since this last batch of wire arrived. Never had this brand before but it looks cheap! I swear I can see steel through the copper coating and wonder if it's causing it to get sticky in the tip.Back in the 1970s / 1980s this was the most common fault on the Industrial Mig Welders using Co2 , The outer steel liner got all clogged up with the mig wire constantly going through the liner at high speed, So we had to take the liner out and use the air line to blow out the dust about every new reel of Mig wire,
Hello, I have had this on my DIY mig, I chucked the original wire roll and bought a good brand, As for the Tips we use to drill out very very slightly bigger and use anti spatter spray , Although i have not done any kind of welding work like you do so i presume your Mig welders and not built like Tanks like we had in the Welding shop, It is the same with these cheap DIY Mig welders, Most have the steel liners and the cheap Mig wire can clog up as with the industrial Migs, For the DIY Migs i always recommend to change the steel liner to the Teflon typeI've also noticed the problems has increased since this last batch of wire arrived. I have to say looking at the Work you manufacture it look like your very proud of the end results, So many Engineering Companies in UK doing your type of work are going maybe be due to imports so it is good to see your work and VideosHello, I have had this on my DIY mig, I chucked the original wire roll and bought a good brand, As for the Tips we use to drill out very very slightly bigger and use anti spatter spray , Although i have not done any kind of welding work like you do so i presume your Mig welders and not built like Tanks like we had in the Welding shop, It is the same with these cheap DIY Mig welders, Most have the steel liners and the cheap Mig wire can clog up as with the industrial Migs, For the DIY Migs i always recommend to change the steel liner to the Teflon type

It may be obvious to some, but what are they exactly SD ?
Yesterday, read legislation, sent emails, drafted memos. All rather boring.
After work- TEMPORARILY fixed a landrover !

Stillages for JCB axle's. I think for one of the large earth mover shovel thingies...It may be obvious to some, but what are they exactly SD ?![]()
