Finally finished my latest fly reel design

Will there be a saltwater version?
This is saltwater proof and would be fine for permit and such I would probably go for a larger spool and drag for tarpon as retrieval rates would be quicker and a a bigger drag would do no harm although this drag is better than most similar reels

What u getting anodised?
I was looking at getting some picatinny rails anodised last year and I gave up after contacting loads of places who weren't interested. They're now on my rifles and one has helicoils in it so probably won't happen now - but very useful to know for next time thank you.

Hard anodising is the dogs mate really tough

That really is lovely!

What does it come in at weight-wise?
About 370gms less than a hardy Casapedia of the same weight the single handed fly rod version 6-8 weight is lightly ported and in production now should be quite a lot lighter

Lovely thing to do . I hope you enjoy catching many fish on that, and that there are still fish left for your children and grandchildren to use it. It will clearly last that long.
