Brilliant, thats all I needed to know, Alan lives quite close to me so I will give him a quick call,No - just put in a variation for .357/.38 ML revolver
A few lads at my old club had them and each cylinder needs a slot from what I heard.
So the application should be for 1x frame in 357 calibre, for example, and then a number of cylinders as additional items.
They were getting sniffy when ppl were asking for 5+ cylinders because they were doing practical pistol, as it effectively gives someone 30 shots with a high ish power pistol all ready to go.
Each to their own...Well im thinking of selling one of my rimfires with a moderator, so I can apply for the .357 and ask the moderator slot to be changed to a spare cylinder!
Im not planning on doing practical, just slowfire at my club and ocasionally at Bisley, Ive had my fair share of 10/22's and Marlins and though it would be nice to have something a bit different,
Im thinking of the 2 inch purely because of the 70's decective look it would "channel" I know it would be a lot harder to get decent groups but looks are more important to me as a hipster shooter!
I've got two Westlake ML revolvers. I really enjoy shooting them. Once you've got the hamgof loading, they're easy enough to use. Tbe bullets aren't controlled as they're not cased ammunition, so you don't need an ammo hold for them, you just boy them via the post.Well im thinking of selling one of my rimfires with a moderator, so I can apply for the .357 and ask the moderator slot to be changed to a spare cylinder!

You can buy a walnut grip from Merseyside Armoury for the Alpha, although you'll have to fettle it so the cylinder will come out. Alan Westlake may possibly have some spares too. Unfortunately, Alfa frames aren't standard to other platforms, like Colt or S&W, so there aren't many, if any, aftermarket options.Just bought a Westlake Alpha .357, lovely piece of kit, based on the Alpha-Proj .357 magnum frame, not a Taurus. Target grips are fugly, standard grips are too small for my hands, so looking for something suitable.
I have that problem with my Westlake Alfa too. I don't have it with my Westlake Arms or though, which is more fun to shoot as a result.Yes you do need an fac I had one and they are the nearest thing we can own to are old cartridge revolvers the problem I found was it all way became difficult to cock and rotate with the primers binding on the recoil shield I tried all sorts of primers and loads and I had a spare cylinder but to no luck so I sold it you couldn’t shoot it in double action mode because of this fault I think it’s just the system that Alan has to live with in this design
