Novice in South Cambridgeshire

Hello all, I'm a vet and conservationist running a reserve in South Cambs. We've got way too many deer, so I'm currently getting my firearms cert. to stalk and kills some of them. I'm here to learn more about it.

The only bores I've shot have been 5.56 and .22. but I've done a few years of that. A whole ago.

Also here to meet folks who might want to show me the ropes, other than the people I've met at the Cambridge club. Who knows about knocking off muntjacs? Also, any good venison recipes?

Other topics I'm into include pathology, astronomy, and engine maintenance.
