Which day/night scope?

Hi all, I'm looking to buy a new day/night scope to put on my .243 for foxing at night and also for deer at last knockings. Main options I'm considering are
Hik Alpex 4k lrf
Pard Nightstalker 4k pro
Pixfra Volans 4k lrf
DNT Zulus V2 5-20z

Previously had the Hik A50T which I liked but lost confidence with losing zero so do I risk that again with the 4k model?
I've used my old man's Pard Nightstalker 4k which was awesome in the day but found the buttons to be too fiddley and have read that pards reliability isn't fantastic.
No experience with the Volans or DNT.
Do I just sit it out and wait to see what the Nocpix Nite D70R is going to be like?

Any thoughts are welcome 👍

I have an Alpex 4K LRF on my .22lr and tbh its been great. Once I got my BC sorted on the bullets I was using its been dropping bunnies out to 120yards reliably. I have not had any wandering zero and the picture is cracking with my old wardy laser torch.
For comparison I have an ATN 5K on another rifle and I much prefer the Alex in every respect better controls and the image just seems better all round.

Have a look at the write up and photos at the end of this thread. Hope it’s helpful?

Wow i don't know if it's helpful or put me in more of a predicament with choices 🤣

You need to consider
If ergonomics is bigger consideration for you

Alpex is heavier then you need to have an IR scope on it
But it does look like traditional scope form factor

Dnt zulu is lighter
Built in IR
Ergonomically I find it better ... lighter fleet set up for roe up here and varminting

Ideally try to get hands and eye on with whatever your considering

I have owned an alpex 4k but couldn't get on with it....so grainy and a poorer image than the c50.

and i had a DNT zulus v1 LRF for a while

and I own a digex c50 which I've had for 3 years and still think it's great, bar the lack of a LRF and i also have a DNT zulus v2 which is also equally great....

As Sauer says, so much comes down to personal preference and what you are going to mount it on/use it for. Handle and look through as many as you can, because everyone else’s favourite will, by definition, be THEIR favourite! 😂
Places like R&B Sporting in Ross on Wye hold Night Vision and thermal events and all the main manufacturers are usually there. Worth a look.
