Anyone watch this? Fly on the wall documentary following Game wardens in Texas. I was always under an impression that it was bit heavy-handed, but when I see how many people are prepared to be so disrespectful of fish and game animals, and how many blatantly ignore the requirements for licensing, size requirements, and species I'm now thinking sometimes the punishments don't go far enough

Yep I catch it from time to time … always seem to be single crewed so they are pretty tough dudes … always wonder how they can drive a car with all their kit on … must be incredibly uncomfortable 😀

Big issue now for the National Park Wardens and the like is Cartels operating in remote areas plying their nefarious trade on top of the usual questionable characters taking game and fish .

Remember the boss Copper is elected ! I quite like that idea but its got more going for it than many our systems in the UK .

I know a few game wardens, you have to remember they are federal, so have more power than local police, state lines mean nothing to them, also very well armed, one I know in Illinois has almost a arsenal in his truck, standard issue AR, pistol, taser, pepper spray, pump action shot gun, and a back up pistol. He tracked down some illegal duck hunters back to Kentucky.

I used to watch quite a bit of it. Always someone trying to push the boundaries of what is legal!
