Has anyone fitted a sx60L to a blaser r8 standard barrel? If so what mounts was used? Cheers

Use the innomount mount that they specifically make for digital NV. It’s set back an additional 25mm to give you the required eye relief as NV and thermal scopes require roughly half the eye relief of glass. Particularly important on an R8 as the mounting points are fairly far forwards. You can use a rail etc but it ends up very high.

It saves any mount adjustment between barrels too.

I am, it works perfectly. I use the slightly lower version for the Alpex. To that point I will only be buying Innomount zero mounts in the future, very well made and you don't have to tweak the mounting stubs between barrels.
How much clearance have you got between the barrel
I have an 8mm gap to the barrel (standard 17mm) at the lens cap.
Did you say thats the 50 not the 60?
That is the 60.
Apologies I thought you meant you had the 50. Looks like that mount should work well then
