Tikka Triggers

Hi Gents,
Just asking those that know, Tikka offer some of there models with either single stage trigger or single set trigger.
What your opinions on these?
Any info or thoughts would be good. And thanks in advance.

The single stage trigger is all you need, I’ve used the set trigger and it’s disgustingly light, I mean even if you fart in the wrong direction it goes off.
I also fitted an aftermarket trigger spring in my CTR and took it out as it was again too light and the trigger didn’t feel as crisp.

We have Two Stage Factory Triggers in stock
Easy to fit, tuneable,
I run one personally

Factory Set Triggers are available but require a sending gun back to GMK

Others are available but tend to be eye watering like Bix'N'Andy etc

I had a cz 453 22lr that came with the set trigger.
It could be used as a single stage or set trigger.
I often shot it at targets using both trigger pulls and always shot better using the single stage.

Bizarrely, the factory-supplied two stage trigger on my Super Varmint didn't have the bolt release, although the genuine Tikka part I'd bought previously for a different T3x did. I liked the one with the bolt release so much that I bought another one and swapped it.

Two stage for a 75?!?! Do tell.
Aaaargh - I may have been a bit over-zealous in my phrasing there! The 75 is a single-stage triggers with the bolt-release on safe feature, as originally supplied in 1975. I bought the 2 Sako 2-stage triggers from Ed to fit to my 2 T3X to make them compatible in layout/safety features. Whilst I have not replaced the 75's original trigger therefore with a 2-stage one, my thinking is its FFF compatible but I leave it to Ed @Edinburgh Rifles (or others) to confirm.

Is it possible to fit the S20 single stage trigger into a T3X? I would quite like the bolt release feature but not at the expense of having to suffer a two stage trigger.

You can now get triggertech triggers as well. Circa 260 for the cheaper model and 360 for the diamond.

Cheers I have had 2 tx3 lite (.243 / .308) with single stage triggers and have had no problems.
Just wanted some input on tikka set triggers.
