So, what do you think will be launched at the show, if anything?
I am going up for a day out, couple of things I want to buy, that I know will be there.

I also want to try some boots on if any are there and under the £350 mark. That is mad. I will be checking the army surplus out.
I know plenty of bitching and whinging about the show, but I do enjoy it.

I’m thinking of going this year after several years of not bothering, not sure why, a bit like you I fancy a day out looking at all the new gear. As for your boots try the Cervo Rossi boot from Brandecosse I have them they are comfortable, waterproof and dare I say it…tough as old boots.

On second thoughts having just looked at the ticket prices £25 + £1.50 booking fee + £5.30 VAT…..total £31.80, I don’t think I’ll bother. So it’s just the Stalking Show then at £20 all in.

I should say that to some it maybe the tipping point in some peoples finances, but go out shoot a deer run it in to the dealers, spend the money on supporting the industry that enables you to go hunting.

A bit to far Birmingham for me
Harrogate I enjoyed the other year & the stalking show when it was held at Kelso ……
Used to do to the game fairs good few years ago as a rule of thumb the further south you got the more expensive things got
Seem to remember they had to drop the price of camping at blenham palace as no one paying it ..

I get that some don’t want to pay the £31.80 I really do, none more so than me .
I wished it was cheaper and the cost of it bites .. well it does if your a tight northerner like me . But I look at it as a day out at something I’m passionate about .
Everything I want to look at in one place.
Let’s face it , we spend a lot more going out with the wife’s keeping them happy. This is for me and I can spend as much or little time as I want , without getting my ear bent.
