Wanted: Guided stalking near Lochgilphead

Hi lads...mate moved to there a few months back..looking to get some guided stalking in...will be applying for a rifle at some stage.. Currently no staking experience...Any contacts appreciated..thanks

Google suggests Bruachan Fieldsports although I've no knowledge of them. Could try the fishing shop (Fyne Tackle) also, they'll likely know someone. Bit of a trek but Angler's Corner in Oban might as I think they arrange some stalking.

Rab Millar of south Ayrshire stalking is a good one.

You could try Stewart Marshall at claonaig estate but that won’t be too cheap.

The guys that run Anglers Corner in Oban and Dewars in Inveraray are brothers , stop in at Dewars in Inveraray and ask for Scott , he guides on his own ground when he’s not contracting . Thinks it’s Dewars they own , might be McIntyres next door , can’t remember but ask , it’s a small community so someone will put you in the right direction .

I’ve been out with Scott for the last 4 years on the red stags, he’s a brilliant. He won’t give up until he’s got you onto a deer, but be warned, he’s an absolute mountain goat so be prepared to walk.
