Now I've spent some time working with these, and sourced the magnets at better prices, and added several different clamp versions, Here's a revised offer.

There are now holders for single & double barreled over & under, & side by side rifles, and the same for shotguns, 20 & 12 gauge, over, and under, and side by side.

ALL of the options are the same price, include the delivery.

Prices for the complete barrel holder, choice of clamp size, & colour:

The measurement is taken from the base of the holder, to the middle of the clamp hole / centerline of the barrel. These lengths may vary by +/- a few millimeters.

ADJUSTABLE LENGTH...................................100mm - 135mm. This covers 99% of rifles, including rifles using sights with an objective of up to 56mm objective.

RIFLE:
SINGLE BARREL: 15mm, 17mm, 20mm, 22mm, & 25mm

DOUBLE BARREL: 12mm (But please measure, & I'll make to suit)




Shotgun:

OVER & UNDER: 20 & 12 gauge. 18mm - 20mm

SIDE BY SIDE: 20, & 12 gauge. 18mm - 20mm

SEMI-AUTO: 20 & 12 gauge. Benelli M2 is 22mm.

I have found that Shotgun, & double rifle barrels vary in size, regardless of the gauge/calibre. 20 gauge seem to be 18-19mm, and 20 gauge 19- 20mm.

My side by side double rifle in 9.3x74R is 12.5mm, so please can you measure, so I can supply the right size for your shotgun, or rifle.

This is one of the issues that I found during testing. I sent one to someone whose cabinet is lined with about 3mm of of felt/material.

The standard magnet I use is 32mm diameter, and allegedly rated to 85-90lbs "pull strength". It would stick to the cabinet, but whilst it would work with some rifles, it would pull off with others. So I increased the magnet to 36mm, and circa 120lbs, and this solved the problem. He went ahead and ordered a number of holders for his different rifles.

The bottom line is, if someone were to buy a holder, and it didn't hold, they would have the choice to return for a refund, or, give me a little time to make an even stronger version ! NOW, this doesn't include someone thinking they need a deep shag-pile carpet to protect their scopes

Had an enquiry for some barrel holders, in sizes I'd never come across, One a 28mm (FX Impact ?) & another a 35mm, both for FAC air rifles, something I have zero experience with.

Anyway, adjusted the files, for the bigger clamp sizes, and started some test prints. I always have to test the clamps to make sure they grip the barrels securely, but not too tight. Easy with the regular sized barrels, which I generally have, but 35mm !

So, first thing I did, print a 35mm tube to test the clamping pressure, which helped enormously.

So, if anyone has and strange of odd sized barrels they struggle with, let me know, I can probably help.
