Magne-Tech QR Magnetic Mounts

Has anyone tried this mount system? Made in the US and I’ve see good reviews from there and Australia. Picatinny mounted base and QR rings connected by magnets with a 0.25 MOA accuracy of Zero claim on detach and reattach. Seems ideal for moving an Alpex from rifle to rifle with each rifle’s profile set up, but being able to put an optical scope back on without re-zero? The company seem happy they can ship to Europe.

I have them, excellent.
I've got a set on my 6.5. Just using 1 scope at the moment, planning a thermal.
I got mine via NZ

I’m going to order and will do a quick review when I have them. One of the sizes I want is out of stock now.

I've ordered a set - see how they turn out. I cannot help but think Temu/Albabi will have much cheaper sets available VERY shortly!

This was the video that convinced me:

And a £100 import/VAT bill 😪

Not unexpected but there’s always hope :coat:
Same here, they have been delivered at home but I'm over to England shooting until Sunday...late Christmas present! That's 2 sets of rings and a base, I have another base and rings on order from Optics Planet in US who were a bit cheaper, and are suggesting they will ship next week.

Yup - mine's just been deliver too 🤗 Just about to have a play ..........
And bugger! The Fixed Portion is too short to bridge my S20 and 75's short Picatinny rail sections :banghead:

They will comfortably fit the rails on my T3x rifles, but that was not the plan. More thinking about calibres, scopes and options required :coat:

Can you send photo?
Ok, the magnetic base has a double Picatinny arrangement at either end of the mount. On my S20, as well as my 75, I have short Picatinny sections which means that only the outermost male portions on the mount base can engage with the stubs. If I was to do this though, the clamps will obstruct the ejection port.

Going to fit a Contessa Picatinny rail (Alan Rhone) to the S20's stubs. Adds more height/weight but should overcome the issue at extra price 😥

I have a Pic rail on my Bergara and fitted two scopes and the base last night, my Merkel has the same stubs issue so I may look at the rail solution, if the locking clamp is on the LHS is the ejection port still tight?

Update: Re-zero'd the S20 with both a Z6i and Alpex and RTZ was perfect.

Placed a second order on the 19th and its just been delivered - less than 4 days! Got stung import fees again but their logistics (DHL) is superb 🤗

Im very impressed so far, next task is to set up mounts and Alpex + scope on the second rifle with a new profile for the Alpex.

Just enquired - no plans to make a 40mm so the dS will have to be a miss :( They did suggest adding the 3-magnet Picatinny rail but that would make a stack of 3 Pic rails plus convential rings so a non-starter in my view 😢
