Boy in critical condition after shark attack at Sydney Harbour beach

Emergency services were called to Hermitage Foreshore Walk near Shark Beach at Vaucluse about 4:20pm on Sunday afternoon following reports of a boy being bitten by a shark.

Yes the risk is there always and It has been discussed previously but the stats of death are far higher in comparison simply by getting into a car/vehicle and heading off.

It reminds me of an incident a few years ago just west of my place . There was a group of German tourists camping in an area we hunt and fish quite frequently. They were shocked when a Grizzly walked into their camp and tore it to pieces , they didn't think that there would be any Grizzlies in the area . Apparently , the name of the place , Grizzly Ridge , wasn't a strong enough hint . To their credit , they took it in stride and still had a good time ..........after resupplying with food and learning to store it away from where you sleep lol .

I think I'll give the locally advertised "Boys' Night Out" in Penistone a miss in that case and head over to Scunthorpe as I think, me and them, we each might not necessarily be looking for the same sort of available companionship for the evening.

There is a place in Australia called Mount Buggery ( look it up if you don't believe me ) that I would avoid as well ............unless you're into that ............and that's OK too ............... cough .
