For anyone consider an outing with Matt - do not hesitate. Book it.

A friend and I enjoyed an AM and PM outing with Matt who worked tirelessly throughout to get us into Deer. Conditions were far from ideal, but Matt's resolve and determination were unwavering.

Not only is Matt a font of knowledge for all things stalking related, he had a fantastic temperament and was brilliant craic. For newcomers to the sport (and experienced rifles alike) Matt would be a superb starting place.

We will certainly be back...with chest straps for dragging purposes - note to self...Peak District Red's way considerably more than their Highland cousins 😂

Got my first deer the other evening with Matt - what an experience and what a guide.

Red hind off sticks just over 100m, won’t forget that!

Matt is a class guy, really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Willing to help wherever he can and can’t fault him for anything.

Definitely recommend!
Thanks so much mate, was a pleasure having you out and getting you on your first! Hope you enjoyed the drag 😂

I was out with Matt last week and this to my mind highlights the excitement and reality of stalking.

First off Matt is an absolute gent and we hit it off straight away. Brilliant banter all the way through.

The weather was crap for the first stalk and the wind really didnt help. We didnt see any deer but I reckon we accounted for the 1 in 10 as there were clearly lots of deer on the ground (previous footage, slots, damage etc).

Second stalk and the weather was a bit hit and miss. We saw some hinds but were after a stag so alas I drew a blank.

For anyone who thinks being taken on a guided stalk is a guarantee ...there is no such thing with a wild animal and if you want a guarantee then chose another activity. Also there are some who object to paying a stalking fee with no result...utter nonsense. Matt spent upwards of 13 hours with me and tried his absolute best to get me an animal.

Thanks for looking after me Matt. I ll see you again 👍

Thanks for your kind words Mike. Shame we couldn't get you on one of the big lads!
