Available: Thread 'Space on Game Syndicate 2025/26'

One pal has relocated to Canada and so once again we have space for one or two guns to our long established syndicate in North Wales near Bylchau. Walked up shooting, with some driven. A reasonable level of fitness is required. The shoot has a quad and established pens so very little work is required to keep it ticking over. Return target is 30% unkeepered and is not in a shoot catchment.
Its a very sociable shoot. With a free clay day, big Christmas meal and lots of shared drinks and food. Lots of stalking links and vermin.
£475 releasing 500 pheasant. 8 shoot days so £52 per day per gun...

I’ll update this to a proper advert shortly. See above link for details. £475 per annum for eight game days, unlimited foxing etc. Mixed game plus vermin. The two members stepping down have got over 25 years’ membership to the syndicate between them. Both continuing to bear but can no longer carry a gun over heavy terrain.

Hi,
Do you do half guns? Shared spaces?
Excellent value for money is your offer. And I’m interested but probably wouldn’t be able to commit to the full 8 days due to own shoot commitments.
And out of interest is one of the chaps in the photos Glen Jones?

Unfortunately we don’t do half guns, but you are permitted to share a gun with an Under 21 as long as you are supervising whilst they shoot. Members are not required to attend the shoot days, typical turnout is say seven to eight guns. As it is £50 per shoot day many guns see them as flexible and shoot in multiple syndicates. We set our dates at the AGM in February but it is effectively alternate Saturdays from the first Saturday of the season, then Beaters’ Day is the last Saturday with at least a week off prior to the last syndicate day. It sounds complicated but is simpler to explain with a calendar to hand. I’ll PM you, Glen is a good pal but broke his ankle beating on Gwsanney and so dropped out this season.
