Those look like vector rings and are notorious for marking tubes. Please post photos with rings removed

I can guarantee the tube is not marked. Vector rings, yes. Lined with electrical tape and torqued to 1.8nm.
The refund if lost guarantee just sound wild to me, never thought of having something lost in the post. But, I can understand your worry.. Can look into insured postage and take pictures without the rings for you if you're serious.

A friend is looking for one, but total loss in case it doesn’t show up isn’t much fun! And having posted a few things around europe post-Brexit, I know it’s pretty common unfortunately

I have the same rings on my Steyr Prohunter with a Zeiss 3-12-50 Conquest DL ASV ill. no marks !I have used electrical tape with mounts before though.
