So they forecasted light rain today so why is there 30mm of rain in my guague and it's still raining.? Now a
Weather warning for Ice!
Needs to be a warning for floods.
I have recorded 122mm of rain in Feburay to date. Newly installed 250 litre water butt has filled in 2 days.
Log burner running with big pot of chilli (roe mince) slowly simmering. Tomorrow we are ment to be going to visit two places to look at snowdrops Plan may be revised.!

I just installed a 2100L water butt, hopefully it should fill pretty quickly

It’s been absolutely biblical here.
I’m on the side of a hill and I had to pull on wellies to bring the dogs to the garage last night. I was supposed to go out stalking today, but the roads are in a total jocker.
Beautiful afternoon, if I could get out

Our local reservoir Chew Valley Lake after very nearly drying out has been full to capacity for months now.
Only last month IIRC from John Hersey’s FB post. But yes, it is really, really wet - everywhere is sodden. Going to the range this morning just over the bridge - everything will have to be carried as the ground is undriveable.

I'm up in the Austrian Alps and this winter we have had only 2 proper snow events. I got one powder day in this season so far, last week I was cycling in shorts. It really feels like spring already.
