Does anyone know if Jackson Rifles are still able to change the thread module on an S Series SL5i mod ? or if not can you buy the replacement module anywhere. I can phone Jacksons tomorrow but just wondered if anyone had info

Would a hausken barrel nut like this work for you ?
I used them in dpt moderators before.

Thanks but no the Utra module is alot bigger.they are available just finding out best option

The hausken nuts all come with an outside thread of m18x1
You order the barrel thread you need and screw it into the existing thread on the mod.
It will only work on m18x1 mods though.

Thanks that nut may of worked but reducing to m15 to 1/2 x 20

Hi Palo is the outside diameter always 18 x 1 as on the Hausken site they sell a 1/2 x 20 but im guessing its the 18 x 1 that wont fit my 15 x 1

Yeah they are all M18x1 unfortunately

Jacksons will probably still be able to help you though

I need to change from M15x1 to 5/8”-24 and have used them a few times in the past.

Hopefully we haven't lost this service given I have 3 SL5’s and a jet z

I didn't need to change thread in the end as I sold rifle with mod so didn't contact Jackson Rifles

I had Jacksons change the thread section on one of my Jet z mods a couple of months back. Give them a call if no luck with email.

Jacksons are still doing the ase threads even though viking have also started bringing them in. I got mine a from Jacksons a few months ago
