Tikka Rep. at the Shooting Show said this is most likely one of the quietest MODs you are likely to find for a rifle.

Used to run a XE149 on my.270 and found it to be a great moderator in both sound and recoil reduction.

Sold it with the.270 barrel and moved over to ASE Utra which are extremely durable and very capable without being unwieldy.

I’ve now relocated to NZ and the Maniatis Carbon Hunter is top of my moderator wish list.

Spoke to a Tikka /Sako Rep. at the Shooting Show and enquired about the quietest mod available for a .223.
His answer was interesting as he spent as much time talking about peoples lack of Mod maintenance than actual products.

Anyway the STALON XE149 was the recommendation for the quietest, but his advice on aftercare was priceless.

Premium mod, anyone out there using this make /
Yes I’m fairly sure this is one I have used and yes it’s good - definitely ear safe which was my reason for trying - if you go on stalon website they give you the decibel rating - I think similar or better rated mod would be a hausken - which is next on the list to try.
