Shot a heavy set muntjac buck late on this afternoon
I’ve shot a fair few over the years but nothing as heavily set as this one especially around his neck.
He’s clearly an old buck, cut up ears, all his teeth missing on the bottom and both tusks have basically worn away. To the point I don’t quite understand how, inside he’s covered in fat especially around the kidneys and looks in fair condition internally.
His stomach was full of grass and leaves, I’m really surprised he’s eaten such corse food.
Has anyone had anything similar over the years?
