Lyman Gen 6 throws powder all over the damn place

With certain powders, my Lyman dispenser chucks kernels all over the place, they seem to bounce out of the pan for some reason.

Any ideas how I fix this so I'm not constantly sweeping powder off the bench? Different pan? Some kind of spout modification so they don't fall as far?

Are you using the black insert in the tube to temper the flow?

Not a gen 6 but I have a lyman dps 3 model that done the same. I also had an older dps 2 model and noticed the scale pan on it was deeper so I used that pan and I had no more bother.

Cut down a drinking tube straw and wedge up the end should slow it down a bit

Yep... An extra bit of tube might be the answer

A bendy straw could be made to work. You're just trying to slow down the velocity of the kernels as they come out of the spout, so bending the straw helps slow down the kernels....
