I believe it’s an LED but will stand corrected if I’m wrong tube I think is 25mm, uses 18650 battery, I think it’s a model (C)

Similar to that on top of your T38. I may very well be wrong but i can't find a PBIR that hasn't been issued without one

I am guessing you mean the front rubber like this NOT The front Len’s?
This is one I just pulled off my Pbir-x 850
the 940 torch Never had one on when I bought it (used) and doesn’t actually look like it has ever had one on, but I could be wrong
It certainly does Not make any difference in its use at all ..
I’m sure mr baker could confirm it if it is a issue

There's nothing missing and it doesn't have a rubber front to it, it's exactly the same as mine and how it was purchased.
