Z8i 5-40x56 rail mount to blaser

Has anyone fitted a rail mount z8i 5-40x56 to a blaser r8, just wondering if the safety catch will hit the eye box?

Mine doesn’t touch, just tried it on a match barrel, its fine to cock and de cock

The eye box on the 5-40x56 is a bit bigger diameter than the standard z8i

They are, anything now labelled as Z8i+ or Plus has the new larger eye box that use the 51mm flip up lens protector
