This could easily be 10 or 12 years old. The leg folding system is far more basic than the current Atlas bipods which would be a strange thing to fake.
 
There are a lot of copies of Atlas, a picture of the position plate ( fig 2 on diagram) might help as all the copies seem to be stamped and the genuine ones are machined and look of a quality and feel that the copies just are not, I have an older model and it has the shoulders on the collar rims unlike the copies.
The original is like chalk & cheese from the copies.

Older Atlas don't have the positioning plate that is in your diagram, if you look at the sellers picture you can see it has a different system

Good to know so are they still multiple positional or fixed in 1 position? the pictures are not too clear or informative.
