I like PJ as he is putting himself out there and taking the stick, fair play he is finding a way for a living in these hard times.
It is no different to "guides" leaving MJ Bucks in the summer so come the winter some one will cough up a heap of cash as it was left
You look at the diving world and a new open water diver can become an instructor in 1 year

I think he’s very different to that.

He’s now actively designing new courses, which I told everyone he would several years ago, and inserting them into the ‘industry’ using every mechanism possible. He’s ex police so I am certain he knows the right buzzwords required to interject this new wave of certification into the industry. So he’s making a rod for all our backs, and lining his pocket. Have you been to a DMG recently, I’m 42 and feel like a child by comparison to the average attendee, do we need another £800 barrier to entry to deer stalking?

He’s made a second career ripping of city boys for client stalking, and hoovering up permissions in order to do so. As stated above he’s the embodiment of what is going wrong with stalking.

It’s all a heap now, DMQ made it easier knocking it down from 3 to 1 stalk, it’s nowhere near the standard to what it was nowadays you don’t need a clean rag the polish your rifle because there’s so much bull**** now everything’s coated

At least DMQ is a centralised entity, non profit organisation. The origins of DSC from the BDS which are an animal welfare charity.

I get it, in many cases practitioners have strayed from this mantra. We all know AW who are rip off artists. Maybe this system needs cleaning up. I’m certain there are people on here with a nuanced take on this.

What I am certain about is that PJ et al are not the saviour. They’re in it, from the get go, to edge out competition (as is nicely demonstrated in the video) and maximise their interests.

Personally here in hillbilly Norfolk, we feed the raptors which in turn helps the Farmer by keeping the gamebirds safer, considering most if not all the day here a shot with lead, the amount of red kites and buzzards here is astounding!

I will say, I might have to get another rag out from the cupboard to roll it around in some **** because that’s another subject in entirely

What do you think to the first part of my post about guides leaving MJ bucks? as the diving part was a end example

If people NEED to make money that way then fair play, it’s not in line with what I do as I am cull only, no need for good heads.
I take antlers off the heads however button/spiker/sorrel etc as I give them to stick/knife makers who ask for them.

Tim, what you don’t understand is some stalkers do this for a living, antlers make money people need to live, you need metal to live no different.

Some people want to guide on clients for trophies you shoot them out of hand like a pest it is what it is. Everybody has their ways of doing things.

I’ve done and seen both sides of the coin.

I get that bit lee but like you and I we are generous with our time for people who are struggling to get a deer/pigeon/duck/fox under their belt.
Get that rifle sold and go fishing
