Hi,

I'm looking to buy a Mauser 201 Lux in .22lr.

If you have one that is sitting in the safe not getting the use it deserves, please get in touch.

Hi,

Thanks for looking, but I was very fortunate and found a nice early edition one owner 201 Lux at a good price only a short drive away from me. An early Easter present.

I'm now looking for that extremely rare beast, a spare 201 .22lr magazine either in 5 round or 10 round. I see some Voere magazines floating around the internet and will probably go that direction, but thought I would also ask here. So if anyone has a parts drawer as full as mine and there is a 201 mag buried in there please let me know.

Best Regards,

Best Regards,

Uk rifle mags used to have the mags for the 201. I was always led to believe that the Mauser and the core were one and the same rifle ? I use to have the 105 years ago

Any voere mag will do as long as it has rep stamped on it not auto. Also i think a mossberg plinkster mag will work from memory

Hi to Riever and Angus,

Thank you guys, I will follow your advice.

The Mossberg plinkster , tip I must say is not one I had thought of. I'll look at it, but must say Voere is where I'll probably end up.

As Always,

Many Thanks,

RSF

That is a stunning gun.

Unfortunately I have a great Weihrauch 60j in .17HMR.

It is a great gun.

Hi Angus,

I was looking on the Brownell's web page for the Mossberg Plinkster magazine. By appearances it looks like it might work. The price is good too compared to some of the Voere magazines I have seen. But I'm still trying to understand if "backorderable" , is a noun or a verb.

Lol it must be an americaism. Was just thinking if you could get a voere/mauser semi auto mag 2nd hand as they are more plentyful, they can be adapted to work in mauser/voere bolt actions by the way of a small weld or epoxy stop on the mag. I know this as i have a mauser 201 a voere 2108 and a mauser 105 and have adapted semi mags to work in the bolts
