Stalking Show Whistle stop tour

Same yesterday so paid cash but wouldn't give any discount whatsoever ever. Others sellers were far more accomadating eg Ogdens
D

We drew straws, two guys queued for food, two went for drinks, two basked in the sun. The venison burger was very good. I would not normally eat burgers etc, but this one was excellent. A few minutes later the weather changed and it went very cold with squalling rain.

I bought stuff from Edinburgh Rifles, Monarch and Simpsons without any internet issues. Mind you, that was before 10.00 on the Saturday, ie before the show got really busy. I expect the local network got swamped later - as tends to happen with large events. A problem of success, in one sense. As is queuing for coffee. I think I shall bring a flask next year. I went back to the carpark at lunchtime to deposit my purchases and couldn't recall exactly where I had left my truck! Trying to pick it out among a sea of dark pickups was slightly fraught. I must be getting old... Next year, I shall attach a length of hazard tape to the antenna.

Lucky you, everywhere I tried for what I was after was sold out 😂

What 3 words works a treat for finding the motor also

Looks awful 😂
Full of old baldy or greying men .
I forget that I am old. Took my eldest, his first experience and a thoroughly enjoyable time. Breakfast at a local brewers fayre, all you can eat so fuelled up for the day. Lots of fantastic stalls and stands, bought a few things. Had to look at the Hik and talked to a few people. No such thing as a stupid question🫣and did feel sorry for the **** in the BMW that obviously doesn't recognise a bog in the car park, I hope some kind 4x4 guy pulled them out..looking forward to next year already 😊

We did the same - and yes, it was a really good burger.

Was unable to buy from DPT same issues as those above, card payments not working despite the chaps best efforts.

Did pick up a naked zipper from Danum Blades, which I'm looking forward to trying.

I went yesterday and with the best intensions and a pocket full of cash, I didn't spend any of it!
First stop, Guy Stainthorp, picked up a knife I got off here that he'd tarted up and gave him my other one to sharpen and post back to me. "No worries, pop back later and it'll be done!"
Feeling all weak at the knees, I spotted a beautiful damascus glow in the dark scales and carbon fibre handle knife he had! I don't need another knife.....but in my head really wanted it. If it was still there later, my wallet was in trouble! To whoever bought it, I thank you!

Was looking at one of the jet sleds until my mate pointed out that I don't shoot enough to warrant one and just to get a £40 sledge instead. Harsh, but true

Went today and enjoyed the day out, bought some Vitrux bullets to try, my only moan was paying £8 for VIP parking and there wasn't any.

Obviously a resounding success for the organisers but just too cramped and busy for me.
It was that a good of a day yesterday we decided to go back for round two today. Today was a completely different day less people easier to get around and see things we even got closer to the venue to park not that it was a problem Saturday. This show is the only show I will be going to from now and just hope it sticks to it’s roots and stays just for shooters.

The organisers need to sort the WiFi.

Regards

JCS
I wasn't there but most similar fair/events are the same. There is only so much bandwidth that can be provided.
I know lots of retailers that do shows/markets now have personal Starlink setups. The "standby" mode provides 0.5 mbps but is enough to work card machines and the subscription is only £4.50/month.
Doubt it would work inside a building unfortunately
